CESSDA provides large scale, integrated and sustainable data services to the social sciences. It brings together social science data archives across Europe, with the aim of promoting the results of social science research and supporting national and international research and cooperation.
CESSDA is organised as a limited company under Norwegian law and is owned and financed by the individual member states’ ministry of research or a delegated institution. Norway is hosting CESSDA, and the main office is located in Bergen.
S/He will act as the chief executive officer, chief scientific officer and legal representative of CESSDA ERIC, leading the team and organisation to the next level.
Tapio Yrjölä is Senior Lecturer at Business Information Systems Programme at TAMK (Tampere University of Applied Sciences). He has used data archived at the FSD in his methodology courses for years.
Inspired by the recent RDA Europe Science Workshop, the RDA Europe project is organising an open workshop on PID systems preceded by a training course for those interested in learning more and getting detailed information about PID systems and making up their own mind.
SEMANTiCS 2016 continues a long tradition of bringing together colleagues from around the world to present best practices, panels, papers and posters to discuss semantic systems in birds-of-a-feather sessions and informal settings.
